What This Tool Does

The Skin & Hair Analysis tool helps you understand your skin and hair condition and gives you a personalized set of treatment suggestions — all based on a few simple ratings you provide.

You answer some quick questions, move a few sliders, tick the concerns that apply to you, and the tool builds a treatment plan for you in seconds. Everything happens right in your browser. Nothing is saved, uploaded, or shared.

Think of it as a structured second opinion — a way to organize what you already know about your skin or hair and see it turned into clear, prioritized next steps.

What You’ll Get Out of It

After completing the analysis, you’ll receive:

  • A score out of 100 for your skin or hair health — a simple snapshot of where you stand.
  • A breakdown of that score across key areas like clarity, hydration, and firmness (for skin) or density, strength, and scalp health (for hair).
  • A short verdict — for example, “Good condition — targeted treatment will help” or “Moderate concerns — treatment plan recommended.”
  • A list of recommended treatments, ranked from most urgent to least urgent.
  • A suggested home-care routine with morning and evening steps.
  • A rough cost estimate so you can plan.

Everything is grouped, prioritized, and written in plain language.

How It Decides What to Recommend

The tool works in three simple steps.

1. It listens to what you tell it

You provide information in three ways:

  • Your profile — age range, skin type, hair type, and similar details. These help the tool tailor its advice to you rather than to a generic person.
  • Severity sliders — for each concern, you rate how bad it is on a scale from 0 to 10.
  • Concern chips — you check the boxes for the specific issues you want addressed.

The chips tell the tool what to focus on. The sliders tell it how urgent each concern is. Both matter.

2. It turns your answers into a single health score

Each of your sliders becomes a score out of 100, where higher always means healthier. For example, if you rate your acne as severe, your “clarity” score drops; if you rate your hair density as thick, your “density” score rises.

The tool then combines these into one overall score, giving more weight to the areas that matter most. For skin, clarity and firmness carry more weight than oil balance. For hair, density and strand strength carry more weight than shine.

The result is a single number — your skin or hair health score out of 100.

3. It matches your concerns to treatments

For every concern you selected, the tool looks up a treatment that is appropriate for that concern and rates its priority as high, medium, or low, depending on how severe your rating was.

Higher severity means higher priority. Mild concerns are labeled as lower priority — still worth addressing, but not urgent.

The tool then sorts everything so the most important recommendations appear first.

What Makes the Recommendations Personal

Two things personalize your plan:

Your profile details. If you tell the tool your skin tone is deeper (Fitzpatrick IV–VI), it will steer you away from certain laser treatments that carry higher risk for darker skin, and toward gentler options. If you tell it your hair has been bleached, it will lean toward bond-building and repair-focused treatments.

Which tab you actually used. If you only filled out the Skin section, your plan will only include skin recommendations. No surprise hair advice based on things you never touched.

This keeps the plan focused on what you actually asked about.

What You’ll See on the Plan Page

When you click through to your treatment plan, you’ll find:

A ranked list of recommendations. Each one shows:

  • The concern it addresses
  • How high a priority it is
  • What an in-salon or clinical treatment might look like
  • What you can do at home
  • How often to do it
  • A few product categories that support the treatment

A suggested daily routine. A simple morning and evening sequence — cleanse, treat, moisturize, protect. If you’ve done the Hair analysis, scalp care and bond-building steps are added.

A cost estimate. An average cost per session, the total number of sessions suggested, and a rough total investment. These numbers are illustrative — a starting point for budgeting, not a quote.

What the Tool Does Not Do

It’s important to be clear about what this tool is and isn’t.

It is an educational tool. It was built to show how structured information about skin and hair can be turned into useful, organized suggestions. It’s a demonstration of a way of thinking, not a clinical instrument.

It is not a doctor. It doesn’t examine you, doesn’t see your skin or hair, and doesn’t know your medical history. It cannot diagnose anything.

It does not replace professional advice. If you have a persistent, painful, or worsening skin or hair concern — especially sudden hair loss, a changing mole, or anything that worries you — see a licensed dermatologist, trichologist, or physician. The tool’s suggestions are starting points for a conversation with a professional, not a substitute for one.

A Quick Example

Imagine you open the tool and go to the Hair tab.

You select the “Breakage / split ends” chip. You set the breakage slider to 8 — severe. You leave everything else at its default. Then you click “View Full Treatment Plan.”

Here’s what you’d see:

  • A warning badge that says you have 1 high-priority concern.
  • A top recommendation titled “Breakage & Split Ends — HIGH priority.”
  • Clinical suggestions: bond-building treatments like Olaplex or K18, a trim to remove existing split ends, and protein–moisture balancing.
  • Home care: a weekly bond-builder, a protein mask every few weeks, a silk pillowcase, and always using a heat protectant.
  • Suggested frequency: a bond-building series every three to four weeks.
  • An estimated cost of roughly $95 per session across about five sessions.

You’d also notice that no skin recommendations appear — because you never touched the Skin tab. The tool respects what you actually asked about.

Why the Tool Is Built This Way

Three principles shaped how this tool works.

Transparency. Every number you see traces back to something you entered. There’s no mystery, no hidden algorithm, no black box. If your score is 68, you can see exactly which sliders pulled it down and which raised it up.

Honesty about uncertainty. The tool never claims to diagnose. It offers suggestions, framed as suggestions, and it always points you back to a professional when the situation calls for one.

Privacy. Everything runs on your own device. Your answers never leave your browser. There’s no account, no signup, no tracking, and no data stored on any server.

A Final Word

The Skin & Hair Analysis tool is a way to organize what you already know and get structured, prioritized suggestions based on that knowledge. It’s designed to be useful, honest, and respectful of your privacy.

Use it as a starting point. Bring what you learn to a professional if the concern is real. And remember that the most important step in any skin or hair journey is the one you take next — consistently, patiently, and with good guidance.
